**Workshop fees are discussed during a Clarity Call to ensure the best fit for your event.
Before we can support students, lead teams, or improve outcomes, we must first address the most overlooked part of the work—the human doing it.
The Work Before the Work is an Interactive Workshop for Educators, Therapists & School Leaders to challenge traditional professional development by starting where real change begins: identity, regulation, communication, and confidence with the adult in the room.
Grounded in the Unconventional Team Framework, participants are guided through meaningful reflection, practical application, and powerful reframes that help them move out of burnout and into alignment. Instead of adding more strategies or expectations, this workshop creates space for professionals to reconnect with who they are, how they show up, and how confidence impacts every interaction and outcome.
When adults do the work within first, they lead with clarity, confidence, and presence—and that’s when students and teams truly thrive. When we are grounded and confident, we show up differently in every interaction, decision, and moment of support. Once this foundation is in place, the same framework becomes a powerful, human-centered approach for working with students. The pillars of identity, regulation, communication, and confidence translate naturally into clinical practice, classrooms, and leadership spaces—because confident, regulated professionals create safe, effective environments where students can grow and succeed.
Because when we lead ourselves first...
We don’t just improve practice—we change what’s possible for our students.
Ideal For
SLP's, OT's, PT's, Counselors, Paraprofessionals
Educators and school-based teams
Administrators and leadership teams
District professional development days
Association conferences for educators, therapists and school leaders
